A woman from Orlando says she went down to South Florida for a cosmetic procedure, but the doctor who performed the surgery turn out to be a fake. In addition to practicing without a license, the man is charged with domestic battery, battery on an elderly person and resisting arrest without violence.

Orlando school employee arrested for sexual abuse of child

FOX 35 Investigates after a local school employee was arrested for sexual abuse of a child, and the alleged victim reached out to us about the arrest. A man who works at the Orlando Torah Academy was arrested on Monday in Chicago and charged with criminal sexual abuse of a person under the age of 17. Today, the school told staff the employee has been removed from his post for now.

Body camera video shows 2 deadly Orange County shootings

New body camera video shows the moments leading up to two deadly Central Florida shootings involving law enforcement. The first is from last month in Orange County, where deputies opened fire on a man holding a knife. The second is from earlier this month when police responded to reports of a suspicious person on East Colonial Drive. Officials said they were forced to open fire in both cases, as the suspects were seen holding weapons.

Police: Shootings, homicides down in Orlando

The Orlando Police Department says homicides and shootings are down to start 2025. When compared to last year, police say homicides are down 67%, while shootings are down 89%.
