Together, they co-founded Winter Park Fashion Week (WPFW) -a fresh, new event with a renewed focus on community impact. The event benefits the breast cancer unit at AdventHealth Winter Park.

Missing person's remains, vehicle found in Orlando pond

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says they have discovered a sunken car with a missing person's remains in an Orange County retention pond. Troopers said they discovered the car on Saturday, Feb. 22, off Dean Road. Officials state that the investigation is associated with an Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) missing person case. However, it is currently unclear who the person is.

Orlando crash shuts down I-4 near West Colonial Drive

An Orlando crash Saturday morning has shut down all westbound lanes of Interstate 4 in the area just south of West Colonial Drive. Police said the crash took place around 7 a.m. Officials were diverting traffic onto Colonial Drive, but the westbound I-4 express lanes remained open.

Orange County deputies shot a man armed with a knife after that man refused to drop the knife and kept advancing towards the deputies, Sheriff John Mina told reporters on Friday night. Deputies responded to a home on Merganser Driver in Apopka regarding a man threatening to hurt himself. The man came out of a bedroom armed with a knife and kept advancing towards the deputies.
