OCSO: 3 teens caught playing on construction site

Three teenagers -- aged 15, 17, and 18 -- were arrested after allegedly entering a construction site and messing with the equipment, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. The construction company reported $5,000 in damaged to its equipment. Two teens were booked into the Orange County Juvenile Assessment Center, and the 18-year-old was booked into the Osceola County Jail. Video shared by Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

Man hit by Orange County ambulance

A pedestrian was hit by an Orange County Fire Rescue Department (OCFRD) vehicle on Saturday morning in Kissimmee, officials say. The Kissimmee Fire Department said they took the pedestrian involved in the incident to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Man shoots intruder trying to burglarize mother's home

An intruder was shot by a man after he allegedly attempted to burglarize a home on Friday night in Osceola County. Mitchell Platt, 37, has been arrested for Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools. Officials are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the sheriff’s office on its non-emergency number at (407) 348-2222.

Bond hearing for suspended sheriff's estranged wife

The estranged wife of suspended Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez will appear in court today in hopes of finally getting out of jail on bail. Robin Lopez was arrested on a federal charge of conspiracy to invest proceeds from racketeering. Marcos Lopez has been charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering and racketeering, allegedly tied to an illegal gambling house. A judge set Robin Lopez's bond at $400,000.
