A family in Winter Springs tried to get last-second tickets to see Billie Eilish in Orlando. That didn't work out, but they think it was meant to be. On their way home, ticketless, they pulled into their neighborhood and found a dog tied to a pole. They're now trying to find the dog her forever home. "She is the sweetest dog ever. Everyone who comes up, like our friends have been coming over and seeing her and she's so lovable and just the sweet dog ever," the daughter said.

A 20year-old man allegedly told officers that he was a "little drunk" and fired his gun at three Winter Springs police officers to "get their attention," according to the Winter Springs Police Department. Devin Williams was arrested on several charges, including aggravated assault, use of a firearm under the influence, grand theft, liquor possession by a person under 21, unlawful carry of a concealed firearm, among other charges. No officers were hurt. The officers were seated outside having dinner.

The Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD) is honoring six employees from the City of Winter Springs’ Parks & Recreation department for saving two dogs from a residential fire on July 31 in Winter Springs. The team also helped the dispatcher and crews, providing necessary information and opening the homeowner’s gates for the apparatus. Now, the FOX 35 Care Force is also honoring the employees.
