Six people were involved in a deadly three-car fiery crash that took place Saturday morning in Seminole County, officials say. State Road 46 was closed in both directions at Osceola Road for several hours after the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is assisting in the investigation.

A group of Sanford neighbors rushed to the rescue of a widow and her cat after her home broke out in a raging fire on Friday. Authorities said there were no injuries in the fire. It is currently unclear how the fire started.

A Seminole County deputy has been suspended for failing to act immediately after a staff member at Milwee Middle School noticed a former student with a gun while standing outside a fence during a student release.

Questions are swirling after an eighth grader was transported to the hospital after several students fell ill during a middle school dance in Seminole County. The incident happened Friday night at the Teague Middle School dance, which was held at the Hilton hotel in Altamonte Springs.
