Woman arrested for aggravated animal cruelty

A Florida woman has been arrested on several counts of animal cruelty after she allegedly left multiple pets to die in an abandoned home. The woman is currently being held in the Volusia County Jail with a bond set at $70,000.

Port Orange home destroyed in fire

Two people are in critical condition and a home has been destroyed after a fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning in Port Orange. The State Fire Marshal Bureau of Fire, Arson and Explosives is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

2 men help to save Daytona Beach bar shooting victims

Three people were injured in a shooting that took place on June 20 at the Southturn Lounge and Restaurant in Daytona Beach. A suspect, 28-year-old Anthony Kaznakoff, was arrested. A marine and airman helped to save those who were shot. Travis Mathis and Vincent Roedel join Good Day Orlando to talk about the incident.

Wounded Warrior Project to host adaptive surfing event

National nonprofit organization, Wounder Warrior Project, will collaborate with Oceans of Hope Foundation to host a two-day adaptive surfing event in Central Florida. More than 30 wounded veterans are scheduled to attend the event. FOX 35's Marley Capper speaks withe some of the participants.
