KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Gov. Ron DeSantis gave remarks at the Florida Parent Educators Association's Annual homeschool convention in Kissimmee on Friday morning.
He claimed Florida is a leader in education, especially for homeschooling families, and that parents should have the right to choose how their kids are taught.
DeSantis also said schools should focus on core subjects like reading and math, not political or social agendas.
