Florida reports 8,198 new COVID-19 cases, 96 additional deaths
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Florida Department of Health reported 8,198 new cases of coronavirus on Monday, along with 96 additional deaths.
The total number of cases since the pandemic began is now 1,280,177, along with 21,308 Florida resident deaths.
The number of people who have received the first dose of a vaccine in the state is 122,881.
