James and Melissa were so excited to get married. Weeks before, the couple learned that James was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. That paused their plans to get married. Others stepped in to make sure their wedding happened, even if different than initially planned. In a week, Parrish Medical Center and others planned a full wedding, complete with decorations, cake, friends, and love.

Family and friends gathered Friday night to remember Winston Willis and his wife, who were killed last Sunday, Sept. 14, after they were struck by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 95 in Brevard County. Willis mom, Monte Clemmons, said she found out about her son's death while she was at church. She said she's relying on her faith to get through.

A march in remembrance of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA who was shot and killed during a speaking event on a Utah university campus, is planned for Saturday in Palm Bay. During a council meeting Thursday night, residents expressed concerned about the event and its promotion.

A standoff that lasted for several hours took place Thursday morning at a home in the Cocoa area. What started as argument between a man and his uncle escalated to a shotgun being pulled out. No one was injured during the incident.

There are concerns from some residents about the shoreline at Parrish Park in Titusville. Years ago, Brevard County made some changes to help deter partying along the shoreline. Since then, some upgrades have happened to the shoreline, including new concrete and plants, though some residents are not fans of the changes. They want access to the shoreline.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said a weak tornado touched down Sunday afternoon in Palm Bay and uprooted a tree, as well as caused some damage to a home. Citing radar and the damage reports, NWS has given it a preliminary EF-0 rating on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. This video, taken by viewer Tim Barton, shows the tornado in the sky.
