1 arrested after hours-long stand-off in Apopka
The Apopka Police Department said they responded to a reference of a domestic disturbance around 7 a.m. on Saturday in the area of the Breckenridge subdivision. After an hours-long stand-off, officials said they arrested 39-year-old Joseph Rivera. Authorities said Rivera is facing charges of aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a firearm, and further charges are currently under review.
