Ocoee man rescues alligator found under his truck
An Ocoee man was shocked when he went to get into his truck and found an alligator underneath. The man as able to safely wrangle the gator using a broom before then grabbing him, taping his mouth shut and calling police for help. The gator was then released back into a nearby lake.

He was located by U.S. Marshals Service at his mother's house, the U.S. Marshals Service and Clayton County District Attorney's Office told FOX 35. Officials say he was released due to a paperwork error. Guzman was expected to appear in court on Saturday morning.

The Ocoee City Commission has voted to approve the future land use and rezoning of a 150-acre parcel of land slated to become a $1 billion sports complex. The complex will include sports fields, restaurants, retail space and two hotels, and will be located off Ocoee-Apopka and Fullers Cross roads. Developers estimate it will create 5,000 jobs?3,000 direct and 2,000 indirect?and bring an annual economic impact of $1.2 billion. Construction is expected to be completed by 2027.
