A man was hit and killed by a car while walking early Tuesday morning in Altamonte Springs, the Altamonte Springs Police Department (ASPD) says. There are no charges to report, and the driver of the car stayed at the scene.

Police say Rachael Scott was last seen around 5:15 p.m. in the area of Wymore Road in Seminole County. The search is on for an injured black bear in Seminole County. Wildlife officials said the bear was spotted in Altamonte Springs with a big wound under its arm.
