A sergeant with the Volusia Sheriff's Office has resigned after he was reportedly intoxicated a New Smyrna Beach bar when he tried to kiss a 71-year-old woman and then push her 77-year-old husband. Sheriff Mike Chitwood reported the former sergeant checked himself into rehab.
