Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, at the E.D. Croskey Center, located at 1510 NW 4th St, in Ocala.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, at the E.D. Croskey Center, located at 1510 NW 4th St, in Ocala.

Authorities said a man was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and emphasized that there was no danger to the community. The man was transported to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately released.

Residents were advised to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing.
